James Franco will be joined by his younger brother Dave Franco in his upcoming movie about the making of Tommy Wiseau's The Room.
James will take on the role of Wiseau and will also direct the film, while Dave is set to play the writer of behind-the-scenes book The Disaster Artist: My Life Inside The Room, Greg Sestero, on which the film is based.
Dave broke the news at a screening of The Room in Los Angeles when he asked Wiseau in a Q&A, "Tommy, how do you feel about me playing Greg Sestero in the movie?" which was met with rapturous applause by the audience. Wiseau replied, "That's what I said: It's a good choice."
James shared a picture of Bad Neighbours star Dave with Wiseau to his Instagram account with the caption, "DAVY FRANCO and TOMMY WEISEAU!!!!! "The Disaster Artist" COMING SOON!!!!
