This year's celebrity Soccer Aid match saw the England team beaten by the Rest of World team which was lead by Michael Sheen and included our very own Nicky Byrne.

The charity match, which took place in Old Trafford last night, has raised £4.2 million already for UNICEF and saw The Rest of World team score 4 goals, with England only scoring 2.

RTÉ 2fm's Nicky Byrne scored a goal with his teammate Clarence Seedorf scoring a hat-trick. For the England team the goals came from Jamie Redknapp and Kevin Phillips.

James McAvoy and Take Me Out host Paddy McGuinness

The Rest of World team was managed by Jose Mourinho and the celebrity team members included captain Michael Sheen, James McAvoy, Nicky Byrne, Jeremy Renner, Gordon Ramsay and Sam Worthington.

The England team was managed by Sam Allardyce with Jamie Redknapp, Mark Owen, Olly Murs, Dominic Cooper, John Bishop and Danny Jones among the team members.
