Paul Weller has revealed that he is planning to record music with Boy George.

The former Jam and Style Council front man added that Boy George's voice is "sounding really, really good".

Speaking about the Culture Club star to Uncut magazine, he said: "I spoke to him about it, and he's up for doing it. It's just finding the right tune.

"His voice is sounding really, really good at the moment. I'd forgotten how great his voice was, it's gotten better with age.

"So it's more of a musical consideration as opposed to being two old geezers from the '80s. But beyond that, I don't know what sort of thing it would be."

Meanwhile, Weller also discussed his desire to work with former Smiths’ guitarist, Johnny Marr.

"We were talking about it for a couple of years," he recalls. "We always bump into each other in different places, but we've never actually worked together."
