Sylvester Stallone’s 1993 action thriller Cliffhanger is set to become the latest Hollywood remake.
According to Deadline, Fast & Furious producer Neal Moritz has teamed up with 21 Jump Street scriptwriter Joe Gazzam for the project.
The film is being described as a reimagining of the Stallone vehicle, which featured the Rocky star as a rescue ranger who finds himself involved in a failed heist.
Cliffhanger is the latest in a series of classic action films to receive remakes, and follows in the wake of Total Recall, RoboCop and the upcoming Point Break.
