It’s being speculated that Piers Morgan may be about to return to UK talent show Britain’s Got Talent – to replace current judge David Walliams.
According to a showbiz column in UK tabloid The Daily Mail, the former Mirror editor - who recently had his US chat show Piers Morgan Live cancelled by CNN - has been talking to Simon Cowell about a return to the BGT judging panel.
The columnist claims: “With two weeks to go on the current series, reports are rife that Simon and David [Walliams] have not been seeing eye-to-eye in the green room,” adding that a source confirmed Morgan has discussed coming back to the show.
Walliams responded ironically on Twitter to the Mail claim, stating that “It's on their website so it must be true.”
Morgan, meanwhile, is keeping a diplomatic “No comment” line on the matter.
