The video follows The Amazing Spider-Man star Garfield, dressed in drag with long blonde hair, as he gets into trouble in a bar before eventually joining the Canadian band on stage at Coachella.
Arcade Fire's Win Butler described the song, entitled We Exist, as "about a gay kid talking to his dad."
We Exist is the third single from their latest album Reflektor and is set for release on May 26.
