Colin Firth is reportedly set to star in the upcoming thriller Eye in the Sky.
The film is about a military intelligence officer who is tasked with remotely commanding a top-secret drone operation to capture a group of terrorists from their safe-house in Nairobi.
Gavin Hood (Ender's Game) will direct from a script by Guy Hibbert, the writer of Channel 4's Complicit.
Screen Daily reports that producers will seek funding for the project at the upcoming Cannes film festival.
Production on Eye in the Sky is set to start in South Africa in August 2014.
