George Clooney's father Nick Clooney is "thrilled" that his son is set to walk down the aisle with humanitarian lawyer Amal Alamuddin.
The 80-year-old broadcaster thinks that George's new fiancée is a ''wonderful young woman'."
Speaking to Us Weekly, Nick said: ''We are thrilled. We have had an opportunity to interact with this wonderful young woman and these are two great people.
''We are thrilled at their decision and we hope for them the best.''
However, Nick refused to give any details about the wedding, saying: ''This is his time, not ours.''
