Cavan singer Brendan McCahey was crowned the winner of The Voice of Ireland on RTÉ One on Sunday night.

McCahey, mentored by Bressie, was the only contestant in the current series to receive the maximum score of 10 (twice) and had been a bookies' favourite.

Kellie Lewis came second in the competition, with Laura May Lenehan in third and Jamie Stanton in fourth.
