Imelda May's new album Tribal is out on Friday April 25, and a behind-the-scenes video for the single It's Good to Be Alive has been released.

The Dublin singer's record label Decca says of Tribal: "Far from mellowing with motherhood, Imelda sizzles more than ever with her leather-clad attitude, returning with a brand new album of hard-edged anthems.

"Imelda is pinning her colours to the mast with music which celebrates the great rock'n'roll sub-culture and her own 'Tribal' allegiances."

Imelda May is among those taking part in Ceiliúradh (Celebration) at the Royal Albert Hall tonight, Thursday April 10, to mark President Higgins and his wife Sabina's State visit to the UK.

The evening of music, spoken word and dance will be broadcast live on RTÉ Radio 1 from 8pm, on the RTÉ Player from 8:25pm and will also be screened on RTÉ One at 10:15pm.
