Six amateur chefs are through to the quarter-final on MasterChef Ireland, following the elimination of two contestants on RTÉ One on Wednesday night.
Nessa Collinge and Nick Watson were asked by judges Dylan McGrath and Nick Munier to hang up their MasterChef Ireland aprons.
Fellow contestant Charlie Day was convinced that he would be going home but was thrown a lifeline by the judges.
Edel Byrne, Diana Dodog, Mark McGrath, Niamh Mannion and Hugh Mullan also remain in the competition.
The series continues on RTÉ One on Tuesday April 15 and Wednesday April 16 at 8:30pm.
