Blarney bard Mick Flannery will release his fourth album By The Rule on May 9.
The album is preceded by the first single Get What You Give, and features new songs written during his sojourn in Berlin.
Speaking about the album, Flannery said: "I moved to Berlin last year, don’t know why. I didn't know anyone there, so I had a lot of time to think about my feelings and what do you know I wrote a song about them."
The stonemason and singer-songwriter based himself in Berlin for seven months to write and then toured Germany, UK, US, Ireland and Australia.
Settling back in Ireland, Flannery recorded the 13-track By The Rule with producers Ryan Freeland and Christian Best in December 2013.
Flannery has also announced a new Irish tour. He plays.
