Jermain Jackman has been crowned the 2014 winner of the UK version of The Voice.

In a drama-soaked final, the 19-year-old Londoner clinched first place with a series of powerhouse performances, including a duet with coach will.i.am of Pure Imagination, from Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory.

All four coaches and special musical guests Aloe Blacc and Paloma Faith were on hand with hosts Emma Willis and Marvin Humes as the series ended on a high.

Jackman beat off the challenge of three impressive losing finalists, Christina Marie (20), Sally Barker, a 54 year-old mother-of-two, and Jamie Johnson, who was the first to be eliminated on the night.
