Homeland star James Rebhorn passed away on Friday, March 21, aged 65 years.
Most recently seen in Homeland and White Collar, Rebhorn was known for his role as the headmaster in Scent of a Woman and as the secretary of defence in Independence Day.
Rhett Bartlett broke the news on Twitter saying that Rebhorn's agent contacted him to tell him the news saying, "He died Friday (March 21) afternoon, at home. He was a wonderful man and he will be greatly missed”.
Rebhorn was diagnosed with melanoma in 1992 and his condition is said to have worsened recently. He is survived by his wife Rebecca and two daughters Emma and Hannah.
