Hamsandwich have announced that their new single, Illuminate, will be released on iTunes on Friday April 4.
Recorded at Dublin's Windmill Lane Studios with longtime producer Karl Odlum, Illuminate is taken from the band's as-yet-untitled third album and is available now for pre-order.
Commenting on the new single, singer Niamh Farrell said: "I'm excited for people to hear it, and I'm glad that this is the first single from the forthcoming album, because there were a few options.
"As the process for selecting the first single went on, however, we knew that the song came from a different place."
Hamsandwich play Dublin's Olympia Theatre on Saturday April 19 with support from Swords.
