The world's glossiest magazine just got a bit grittier - sword and sex saga Game of Thrones has made the cover of this month's edition of American style bible Vanity Fair.
World-famous photographer Annie Leibovitz flew in to shoot the cast of the hit show against a spectacular back drop in Northern Ireland and captured the province in all its wild and beautiful glory.

The Vanity Fair team also filmed a number of behind-the-scenes videos with the cast, featuring the likes of Emilia Clarke getting very cold indeed.
