Brothers and Sisters star Dave Annable has been cast in the new American drama Red Band Society.
Co-produced by Steven Spielberg, the medical drama follows a group of teenagers who meet as patients in a children's hospital and go on to become great friends.
The actor will play a paediatric oncologist/surgeon – the compassionate and dedicated Dr William McAndew gets very attached to his young patients despite his best efforts.
