Cormac Battle is to present a weekly rock, indie and dance show at 10:00pm on RTÉ 2fm on Friday nights, beginning tonight, March 7.
Battle said of his new two-hour show: "Imagine wandering around a modern music festival - I will be doing a show that represents that vibe with a mix of rock/indie/dance."
Battle continued: "Anybody who was a fan of my rock show The Battleaxe will love this. It's going to move at the speed of a rocket, so lock up your daughters and hold on, it could get rough… In fact, it will!"
Head of RTÉ 2fm, Dan Healy, said: "Cormac made his mark with The Battleaxe on Sunday nights, and we're delighted he's part of the new Friday night mix on 2fm as he is a fantastic presenter."
