Jude Law is in talks to take on a leading role in Paul Feig's spy comedy Susan Cooper.
If he lands the role, 41-year-old Law will star opposite Melissa McCarthy in the comedy caper.
The action movie, which centres on the adventures of an unlikely female spy, will also star Rose Byrne and Jason Statham.
Feig wrote the script and will produce the film, while Fox executive Daria Cercek will oversee the project for the studio.
Law can next be seen in Wes Anderson's The Grand Budapest Hotel and Richard Shepard's Dom Hemingway.
