Julia Stiles has been cast in an upcoming TNT drama pilot Guilt By Association.
She takes on the leading role after Neve Campbell dropped out of the project.
Guilt By Association is based on a book by former prosecutor Marcia Clark, and the pilot will see Stiles play Rachel Knight, an idiosyncratic Deputy DA in the LA County District Attorney's office, who sometimes operates outside of the law in order to uphold it.
Rose Rollins and Elisabeth Röhm will also star as a prosecutor and tough detective who aid Stiles's character in her work.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, Clark co-wrote the pilot with Nashville's Dee Johnson. Clark, Johnson and Nelson McCormick will serve as executive producers on the drama.
This marks Stiles's return to TV since a stint on Showtime's Dexter, which ended recently.
