Manchester art rockers James have announced details of their first full-length album in six years. La Petite Mort was recorded after lead singer Tim Booth lost his mother and his best friend in quick succession.
Produced by Max Dingel (Killers. Muse, White Lies), the lead single Moving On will be previewed from today online and on air.
La Petite Mort may deal with mortality but the veteran band, which formed in 1982 and has sold 12 million records, are describing it as "an incredibly uplifting record".
James are expected to announce Irish concert dates shortly.
