Eliza Dushku is reading for a role in the upcoming How I Met Your Mother spin-off.
The former Buffy and Dollhouse star revealed on Twitter that she was reading a script for How I Met Your Dad.
Responding to comments from fans, she later added: "Reading the pilot, folks. No announcement, just a first date."
Dushku did not reveal any more details about which character she might play but the role of Juliet - a 'sexy, flamboyant, energetic party-girl' - has yet to be cast.
Frances Ha and Arthur star Greta Gerwig previously signed up to play Sally, the show's other female lead.
How I Met Your Mother is currently in its ninth and final season, with the series finale expected to introduce characters from the spin-off.
