Former Criminal Minds star Paget Brewster has signed up for a return to TV.
Deadline has reported that new ABC sitcom Saint Francis will see the 44-year-old appear opposite Michael Imperioli, best known for playing Christopher Moltisanti in The Sopranos.
The multi-camera comedy will star Imperioli as Francis Quinlan, an old-fashioned cop who objects when his younger sister gets pregnant outside of marriage.
Brewster will feature as his more open-minded wife, who defies her husband and decides to support her sister-in-law through her pregnancy.
For seasons 2-7 Brewster played Emily Prentiss on the hugely popular Criminal Minds but decided to leave the show. Previous roles include being Chandler's girlfriend Kathy on Friends.
Brewster recently stated that she would not return to Criminal Minds full-time, as she wanted to take on more comedic roles.
