Under the Skin star Scarlett Johansson has revealed that some of her male co-stars were intimidated by the prospect of working with her on the science fiction thriller.
The 29-year-old actress, who plays an alien seductress who preys upon hitchhikers in Scotland in the film, told SFX magazine: "These characters that I'm picking up are those forgotten guys - they don't have any ties. They're not like the coolest kid in school.
"So the guys I was working with, it helped [their performance] that they'd be like, 'I can't believe I'm sitting next to you'."
Johansson explained that she felt uncomfortable watching the film, saying: ''It was strange. I felt really anxious. I didn't know what the film would look like at all. I tried to watch it as an audience member. And it pulled me into it.''
Under the Skin is due for release on March 14.
