A private funeral for Oscar-winning actor Philip Seymour Hoffman took place in New York City on Friday.
His family were joined by friends and colleagues including Amy Adams, Cate Blanchett, Ethan Hawke, Julianne Moore, Mary Louise Parker, Joaquin Phoenix, Meryl Streep, Michelle Williams, and directors Paul Thomas Anderson and Spike Lee at the service at the Church of St Ignatius Loyola.
A larger memorial service is planned for later this month.
Police believe that the 46-year-old actor died of a heroin overdose, but a post-mortem proved inconclusive and further tests are needed.
