Michael J Fox is returning to The Good Wife, it has been announced.
The actor will reprise his role as attorney Louis Canning following news that NBC is pulling his sitcom from the schedule.
Fox is set to appear in multiple episodes of the CBS drama as Alicia Florrick's (Julianna Margulies) courtroom nemesis.
NBC announced on Wednesday (February 5) that it was taking The Michael J Fox Show off the air after it had struggled to get the ratings.
Fifteen of the show's 22-episode order have already aired on NBC, though it is unclear when the network will broadcast the remaining episodes.
The Good Wife returns to CBS on March 9.
