Singer Justin Bieber is reported to have spent last weekend looking for a venue in New York where he can be baptised.
The 19-year-old was arrested in Miami last week by officers who stopped him while he was driving in a rented sports car. A trial date of 3 March has been set for his three misdemeanors. Lawyers for Bieber have already filed a written plea of not guilty.
Meanwhile the New York Post is quoting sources as saying the singer was seeking to be baptised with the Hillsong Church last weekend but failed to find a venue in time.
Following his arrest the singer had tweeted his gratitude to God by saying simply: "Blessed to do this."
