In their first ever European chat show appearance, Pussy Riot members Nadezhda Tolokonnikova and Maria Alyokhina will be among Brendan O'Connor's guests on The Saturday Night Show.

The two activists from the Russian feminist, punk rock group will discuss the time they spent in prison following their protest against Russian President Vladimir Putin in a Russian Orthodox church in 2012, and why they are still campaigning for change in Russia.

They will be joined by economist Constantin Gurdgiev, a lecturer in Finance at Trinity College, Dublin and a regular contributor to debate in Ireland.

Also appearing on the show will be Strictly Come Dancing stars Vincent Simone and Flavia Cacace, who will chat ahead of their upcoming show Dance 'Til Dawn and perform a special tango.

The Saturday Night Show is on RTÉ One at 10.05pm.
