12 Years a Slave director Steve McQueen has revealed his friendship with Kanye West saying they talk all the time.
The pair bonded while working on an interview piece for the January edition of Interview magazine and McQueen said at the Director's Guild Awards on Saturday (January 25), "We talk all the time. He's a very lovely man. A lovely man."
McQueen continued to say he has great respect for Kanye, "He's an experimenter, he's tireless in trying to create sound and music. That he can be progressive within the now. He's very current."
He then added, "I'm just happy that he's around."
