American Hustle director David O Russell is to executive produce a new television drama for US network ABC, which follows the lives of the members and staff at a private country club.
The Hollywood Reporter says that Russell co-wrote the story with Erin Brockovich writer Susannah Grant.
ABC has ordered the new series without a pilot episode being made.
The show marks the Oscar-nominated Russell's first television drama series.
