Arrested Development star Michael Cera is to star in a new comedy pilot for FX that’s being penned by quirky movie writer-director Charlie Kaufman.
The 25-year-old actor will appear in the comedy, entitled How and Why, which is the "story of a man who can explain how and why a nuclear reactor works, but is clueless about life".
Deadwood's John Hawkes has also been signed up to star alongside Cera, while the Academy Award-winning Kaufman is double-jobbed to write and direct.
Meanwhile, Ron Howard has spoken about the future of Arrested Development - the sitcom had its comeback fourth season broadcast last year on Netflix - saying that "everybody wants more" of the hit US show.
