Alicia Rhett, who played spinster India Wilkes in Gone with the Wind, has died at the age of 98.
The Associated Press reports that Rhett died on Friday at the Bishop Gadsden Episcopal Retirement Community in Charleston, South Carolina, where she had lived since 2002.
Despite the success of Gone with the Wind, Rhett retired from acting in 1941 and lived in Charleston, where she worked as a painter, accent coach and radio announcer.
