Former Friends star Matthew Perry is to co-write, produce and star in a remake of 1970s TV hit, The Odd Couple.
The 44-year-old actor will team up with writer and producer Danny Jacobson (Mad About You) for the reboot of The Odd Couple which is originally based on a Broadway play by Neil Simon.
Perry, who recently starred in the comedies Go On and Mr. Sunshine, would play the role of Oscar Madison, the messy roommate sharing a place with Felix Unger.
Executive producers for the reboot are expected to include Carl Beverly, Sarah Timberman, Eric Tannenbaum, Kim Tannenbaum as well as Perry and Jacobson.
The show will be filmed in front of a TV audience however the date the programme will air has yet to be announced.
