Steve McQueen's 12 Years a Slave leads the shortlist for the Screen Actors Guild Awards, with stars Chiwetel Ejiofor and Michael Fassbender among the nominees.
Ejiofor has been nominated in the Outstanding Male Actor category, with Fassbender up for Outstanding Supporting Male Actor.
Their co-star Lupita Nyong'o has been shortlisted for the Outstanding Supporting Female Actor award and the film is also recognised in the Outstanding Performance by a Cast in a Motion Picture category.
Dallas Buyers Club is also well represented with three nominations and Captain Phillips, August: Osage County and American Hustle also feature in a number of categories.
The Screen Actors Guild Awards take place on Saturday January 18, 2014.
