Miley Cyrus has been short-listed for Time magazine's Person of the Year award alongside Pope Francis and Barack Obama.
The staff of Time magazine will have the final say on who takes the title but readers were invited to vote on who they thought most influenced this year's news, for good or for bad.
Cyrus took to Twitter to ask fans to back her in the race to become the Person of the Year but will the editorial team at Time choose her over the other candidates?
