It is reported that Janine Butcher (Charlie Brooks) will play a major part in the Christmas storylines on EastEnders.

The Mirror reports that a synopsis released by the BBC says: "In Walford, Janine's lies look set to be exposed, but with the pressure mounting and nowhere to run, Janine once again takes matters into her own murderous hands."
The synopsis continues: "But will she kill again, will she be caught or will she flee Walford before the truth comes out?"
Actress Brooks will leave the BBC soap early next year.
