Angelina Jolie has reportedly bought Brad Pitt his own heart-shaped island off the coast of New York as a 50th birthday present.
According to a report in The Mirror, Jolie spent $24 million on the island known as Petra which features two properties designed by renowned architect Frank Lloyd Wright. Brad is said to be a massive fan of his work so when Jolie heard that Petra was for sale she made an offer.
A source told the tabloid, "She arranged a viewing. She was really impressed. The house is perfect for romantic getaways or as a family retreat. It's very private and Angelina knows the fact the island is in the shape of a heart will mean so much to him."
