Amy Winehouse's father Mitch insists that he would never allow Hollywood to make a biopic about his late daughter.

Speaking last night (November 20) at the annual Amy Winehouse Foundation Ball at London's Dorchester Hotel, he mentioned various tribute options for the late singer, who died of alcohol poisoning in July 2011.

"I don't really want to do a biopic, but there's a documentary film from the same people who did Senna coming out next year," he told Digital Spy.

"A concert would be amazing, but it's actually getting it together with the [record label]. It sounds great in theory, but in practice it's not so easy. We are talking about it though."

Winehouse also praised the "wonderful people" - including celebrity guests like Barbara Windsor, Pixie Lott, Boy George and Mark Ronson - who showed their support at the ball.

"I'm emotional, but happy to be here and grateful for everyone who's come to support us," he said. "It's just wonderful. Amy should be here, but under the circumstances I'm happy."
