The start date for filming of the Entourage movie has been announced as January 16.

Writer Doug Ellin tweeted yesterday morning about the January start date for the shooting of the film which is based on the successful HBO series.

Ellin also tweeted a photo of himself with the cast of the movie. The Hollywood Reporter says the reason for the delay with the film had been a dispute by some of the lead actors over pay.

Jeremy Piven was initially due to receive a larger pay deal that colleagues Adrian Grenier, Kevin Connolly, Jerry Ferrara and Kevin Dillon. The dispute appears to have been settled with this announcement.
