Violin virtuoso Vladimir is undertaking an Irish tour this December and RTÉ Ten would like to send you and a friend along to see him in action. Plus you can also win a copy of his new album.
Irish based since 2004, the young Slovak has built a loyal audience in his adopted homeland based on extensive touring, and appearances on The Late Late Show, Nationwide, Today FM, Lyric FM and RTÉ Radio 1.
His new album, Vladimir's Classical Christmas, features guest appearances from Irish opera stars Claudia Boyle (soprano) and John Molloy (bass baritone), plus Wexford singer Wallis Bird and Vladimir's six-year-old daughter Dominika.
Tracks on the new album include Prokofiev’s Troika, Stop The Cavalry (featuring John Molloy), All I Want For Christmas Is You, The Wexford Carol (featuring Wallis Bird), and The Blue Danube.
To be in with a chance to win tickets to one of Vladimir's concerts and a copy of his new album, send your answer to the following question, along with your address and contact phone number to tencompetitions@rte.ie
Which European country is Vladimir from?
Make sure you include which show you and a friend would like to go to (see full tour dates below) and please put Vladimir in the subject line.
This competition opens on November 19 and runs until 12 noon on November 27, 2013. Full RTÉ competition rules apply, a copy of which can be found here.
