Dublin Zoo has officially opened its brand new family attraction, the children's Play Forest.
Completely sheltered, the Play Forest includes a large slide, palm trees, sand, wooden huts, rope bridge and wooden tiger and monkey.
The Play Forest is suitable for children aged from four to 12 years of age. It can be found next to the orangutan habitat, which is located between the Asian Forests and the Fringes of the Arctic.
The Director of Dublin Zoo, Leo Oosterweghel, said: "We are very excited to announce the opening of the new all-weather Play Forest. The Play Forest is an extra attraction at the Zoo to keep the little ones busy. It's a great place to retreat to if a shower interrupts your visit to the Zoo."
