John Cusack and Ryan Phillippe have been cast in the child abduction thriller Reclaim.
The film, which centres around real-life events, will also star Rachelle Lefevre (The Twilight Saga), Jacki Weaver (Silver Linings Playbook) and Luis Guzmán (Boogie Nights).
Phillippe and Lefevre will play a couple who travel to Puerto Rico to finalise the adoption of a Haitian orphan.
After clashing with a strange local man (Cusack), their new daughter is kidnapped from her bed one night.
They attempt to solve the mystery of her disappearance, which becomes more complicated when the adoption agency contact (Weaver) also goes missing.
Reclaim will be directed by Alan White (Erskineville Kings).
