The Entourage movie has officially received the go-ahead following weeks of alleged contract issues.
Jerry Ferrara, who played Turtle on the HBO series, told The Wendy Show yesterday that, “It’s looking good. It’s looking real good. It could be closed today.”
He added, “We’re hoping to shoot in January.”
The actor took to Twitter late last night to announce that his prediction was in fact correct saying, “I am proud to announce the #Entourage movie is officially a GO!”
Adrian Grenier, who played Vince Chase, also announced the news to fans via social media by posting a message on Facebook and tweeting a photograph of his character’s drivers license with the caption, “Break out the license cause we’re full speed ahead.”

Producer Mark Wahlberg commented previously that the delay was due to the cast’s greed when settling contracts but Grenier posted a message to fans saying that it wasn’t greed holding things up, he just wanted a good deal for all involved.
