Dame Judi Dench has insisted she has no plans to retire despite turning 80 next year.
The actress revealed that she believes her film career has only just kicked off so has no plans to slow down and has plenty of new roles to play.
She told The Sunday Times newspaper about turning 80 next year, “Oh yes, but don’t say that! That’s an absolutely filthy thing to say. Don’t say ‘old’, don’t say ‘retired’, and don’t say ‘80’. I’m not even considering retiring.”
The Skyfall star can currently be seen in Philomena starring alongside Steve Coogan.
