Ciara and Future are engaged, it has been announced.
The singer has been dating the rapper and producer for a year, and accepted his proposal in New York at the weekend.
The couple were out celebrating her 28th birthday when he popped the question with a 15-carat diamond ring, their publicist confirmed to the Associated Press.
Ciara announced her relationship with Future earlier this year when they attended the 2013 MTV VMAs together.
She said at the time: "I'm happy. I'm with somebody that makes me feel very comfortable in this setting. He's my best friend, so we talk about a lot of stuff."
Future, whose real name is Nayvadius D. Wilburn, is currently touring with hip hop star Drake.
