Damian Lewis will star opposite Nicole Kidman in the new biopic of Gertrude Bell, Queen of the Desert.
The Homeland actor will play English war hero Lt. Col. Charles Doughty-Wylie who begins an affair with the Gertrude Bell (Kidman), the real-life 20th century explorer, according to Deadline.
Also starring in Werner Herzog's biopic are James Franco and Robert Pattinson.
Kidman recently replaced Naomi Watts as the lead role in the film, while Franco stepped in for Jude Law.
Queen of the Desert is scheduled to be released in 2015.
