Goth shlock rocker Marilyn Manson has signed on to join the latest season of ABC's hit fantasy series Once Upon a Time.
The 44-year-old star, real name Brian Hugh Warner, will feature as a voice guest star, according to Rolling Stone magazine.
In a joint statement, executive producers Eddy Kitsis and Adam Horowitz told the US magazine: "We've always been enormous fans of Marilyn Manson. We wanted to cast someone with the vocal ability to make our skin crawl."
Manson will provide the voice of The Shadow, a character based on the shadow of Peter Pan from the classic stories by JM Barrie.
Marilyn will make his first appearance in episode eight of Once Upon A Time's third and current season, which is set to air on US network ABC in mid-November.
