Jennifer Garner has admitted she found it difficult to see her The Dallas Buyers Club co-stars losing so much weight.
McConaughey lost 50 pounds for his role as an AIDS victim and co-star Jared Leto also had to lose weight for his role in the film.
Garner told Access Hollywood, “It was shocking and upsetting and really hard to see. I wanted to feed them a bowl of pasta!”
She added that she’s relieved to see them looking healthy again now that filming has finished, “It’s such a relief. The big mama in me was so happy.
“They never complained - neither one of them. They were completely focussed and ready to go and their performances are just remarkable, really unbelievable.”
