James Van Der Beek is set to return to How I Met Your Mother.
The actor has previously appeared in two episodes of the hit comedy playing Robin’s (Cobie Smulders) ex-boyfriend Simon.
Van Der Beek posted about his return to the show on Instagram with a the picture of the How I Met Your Mother script alongside the script for another project he’s working on.
The episode will air during the 9th season of the sit-com which is currently showing in America.
