Transformers director Michael Bay has been attacked and injured in Hong Kong while filming his latest movie in the sci-fi franchise.
Reuters, quoting a police spokesperson, reports that Bay was approached on set by two men who demanded payment of HK$100,000 ($12,900).
Bay was subsequently assaulted, while three police officers who tried to intervene were also attacked.
The two men were subsequently arrested.
Bay sustained facial injuries but a spokesperson for the director said he did not seek treatment.
Filming later continued.
